How To Buy Points

On point spread and total wagering you are allowed to "buy points".

Buying points means you can move the line up to 2 points. The way this works is for every half point you want to buy, you must risk 10% in extra juice (except when buying on/off of a 3 in NFL).

So let's say you like the Dolphins -7 over the Colts - however, you think they will win by a touchdown. So instead of risking $110 to win $100 at -7, you can risk $120 to win $100 at -6 half.

Here is a summary of the rules for buying points:

1/2 point - you lay 120/100
1 point - you lay 130/100
1 1/2 points - you lay 140/100
2 points - you lay 150/100
NFL BUYING ON/OFF 3pts -130
NFL BUYING ON/OFF 7pts -125
NCAA BUYING ON/OFF 3pts -125


When buying on or off of an NFL 3, there is an extra 10% juice.

You can buy up to 2 points on any Football or Basketball game

 . Buying the Colts to -2½ would cost -130
. Buying the Jaguars to +3½ would cost -130
515Raiders+2½
516Jets-2½
 . Buying the Raiders to 3 would cost -130
. Buying the Jets to -2 only costs -120
